"The purpose of the Tufts Caribbean Student Organization is to promote a better understanding and a greater awareness within the University and surrounding communities of the peoples, affairs and culture of the Caribbean through the sponsorship of cultural events. This club also fosters a greater sense of community among students of Caribbean ancestry. "

As the Public Relations Officer for the Organization I:

• Networked with other organizations on and off campus

• Promoted the club’s events and create advertisements

• Became knowledgeable of the public’s interests and help incorporate these interests into the club’s agenda
